Arrive twenty minutes early. Boarding is at the jetty and boats leave on time, because the whole day is built around being back before the afternoon breeze.
Bring cash for the park fee. It is paid on Moyenne Island itself, it is small, and it is almost never in the booking. Card is not reliably accepted.
Claim a shaded seat if there is one. The Seychelles are four degrees from the equator and most decks have very little cover.
Watch the time ashore. On a Moyenne Island tour you usually get about an hour on the island. The paths take twenty minutes; the tortoises take the rest.
